Michigan charities and their members. Players. Suppliers and their employees. Locations and their employees. Local businesses and residents who understand the negative impact unfair and unnecessary restrictions can have on Charity Poker Events.

Restrictions on Advertising
Partial or complete restrictions on advertising by businesses — nonprofit or for-profit — whose success depends almost entirely on public awareness and participation, even when the advertising is truthful and not false or misleading.
Bans on Harmless Promotions
Popular promotions that players enjoy and that can help attract participation — such as High Hand prizes and Bounty Tournaments — have been prohibited at Michigan Charity Poker Events.
These are just two examples of regulations that we believe are unfair and unnecessary because they are stacked on top of rules that already get the job done.
Rules that protect charities, players, and the integrity of the games are important, but…
